Farholm is a travel agency for people who’d rather look forward to a trip than stress over planning it. We build trips around your budget, your interests, and your travel style — a luxury cruise or a straightforward beach week. No pretension, no pressure. Just thoughtful planning and real expertise. We’re based in the Pittsburgh area and work with travelers across the US — every state except Florida, Hawaii, and Washington, where we’re not yet licensed to sell travel.
How it works
Four steps. We do the heavy lifting.
Tell us what you’re thinking
No need for a fully formed plan. “We want to go somewhere warm in February” is a perfectly good start. Reach out by phone, email, or the form on our contact page — no commitment and no cost.
We do the research
We come back with options that fit your budget and preferences — not a generic list, but a curated set of recommendations with honest pros and cons. You decide what feels right.
We handle the details
Once you’re happy with the plan, we handle the bookings and logistics: seat assignments, room categories, travel insurance, excursions — all of it.
We’re here if anything changes
Flight delayed? Hotel issue? Plans changed? You have a real person to call — not a hold queue. We’re your point of contact before, during, and after your trip.
What we do
Cruises, stays, and flights — handled.
Cruises
Ocean voyages, river cruises, and expedition sailings. We’ll find the right one for you and handle every detail.

Jake has sailed the Norwegian fjords, walked Mediterranean harbor towns, and crossed to Antarctica aboard Silver Endeavour on a fly-cruise over the Drake Passage. That’s why the advice gets specific — which side of the ship to book for the Geiranger sail-in, when a sea-view cabin is worth it and when it isn’t.

Yours doesn’t need to look like any of these — that’s the point.
What clients say
In their words
“We had the best trip to San Diego. Jake was incredible to work with in coordinating our flights, hotels and suggestions on places to visit. Our hotel was amazing and in a great location! So thankful for Jake and his agency for helping us have a trip that we will never forget!”
