Your travel agent in Pittsburgh & the North Hills
Cruises, resorts, and flights — planned with you, by someone who’s actually been there. Based here in the Pittsburgh area, working with travelers across 46 US states.
Farholm is an independent travel agency based in the Pittsburgh area. We plan trips for people across the North Hills and northern suburbs — Wexford, Cranberry, Seven Fields, Allison Park, Glenshaw, Mars, and Gibsonia — as well as Pittsburgh proper. No walk-in storefront, no pressure, no trip too small. Just thoughtful planning from a real person who picks up the phone.
What we plan
Every kind of trip — not just one.
Cruises, all-inclusive resorts, hotels, and the flights that tie them together — domestic and international, from a long weekend away to a month abroad. If it’s a trip, we plan it.
Cruises
Ocean, river, and expedition sailings — plus the flights from Pittsburgh to the port. We match you to the right ship, cabin, and itinerary.
Cruise planning →Resorts & hotels
All-inclusive beach weeks, family resorts, adults-only escapes, theme parks, and city hotels — at home in the US and abroad.
Resorts & hotels →Flights
Domestic and international — out of PIT or wherever you start. Smarter routing, better fares, and loyalty advice that fits how you fly.
Flights →Where we work
Local to the North Hills, and beyond.
Pittsburgh and its northern suburbs are home. We regularly plan trips for travelers in Wexford, Cranberry Township, Seven Fields, Allison Park, Glenshaw, Mars, Gibsonia, and throughout Greater Pittsburgh — and because everything happens by phone, email, WhatsApp, or video, we work just as easily with clients across 46 US states.
Due to state-specific seller-of-travel licensing, we’re not yet able to serve residents of California, Florida, Hawaii, or Washington — we’re working on expanding, so reach out anyway and we’ll stay in touch.
Why a local, independent agent
The difference a real person makes
A local, not a call center
You’re working with one person based in the Pittsburgh area — not an offshore call center or an 800-number that forgets who you are. Same time zone, real availability, and someone who knows how flights actually connect out of PIT.
Honest about what’s worth it
We’ll tell you when an upgrade isn’t worth the price or a different property fits better. The goal is the right trip, not the biggest booking. Why use a travel agent? →
No trip too small
You don’t need a five-figure budget to use a travel agent. We help with everything from a weekend away to a once-in-a-lifetime voyage — and there’s no fee to start the conversation.
Common questions
A few things people ask
Is there a travel agent near me in the North Hills?
Yes. Farholm is based in the Pittsburgh area and works with travelers across the North Hills and northern suburbs — Wexford, Cranberry, Seven Fields, Allison Park, Glenshaw, Mars, and Gibsonia — as well as Pittsburgh proper and clients across 46 US states.
Do you have an office I can visit in Pittsburgh?
Farholm is an independent, by-appointment agency rather than a walk-in storefront. That keeps overhead low and the focus on you. We work by phone, email, WhatsApp, or video — whatever’s easiest — and most clients never need to leave home to plan a great trip.
Do you book the flights too, or just the hotel or cruise?
The whole trip. We book domestic and international flights — out of Pittsburgh (PIT) or wherever you’re starting from — alongside the resort, hotel, or cruise, and we line up the timing so connections and embarkation actually work. For a cruise, that usually means a pre-cruise hotel night, so a delayed flight never costs you the ship.
What does it cost to work with a Pittsburgh travel agent?
There’s no charge for trip-planning consultations, and in most cases our service costs you nothing. We earn commissions from the suppliers we book with — cruise lines, hotels, airlines — so the price you pay is typically the same or better than booking direct. If a booking ever involves a service fee, we tell you upfront. (Points & miles consultations are a separate paid service.)
Do you only work with people in Pittsburgh?
No. Pittsburgh and the North Hills are home, but we plan trips for clients across 46 US states. Due to state-specific seller-of-travel licensing, we’re not yet able to serve residents of California, Florida, Hawaii, or Washington.
Let’s plan something from right here.
